We planted our Queen’s Jubilee Tree in our meadow area; a short time after it was planted (November 2022), the meadow was scarified and looked like a mud-bath. It loved it and the meadow has grown vigorously this year. An important plant we have established is Yellow Rattle, which keeps the grass down to allow other wildflowers to grow. And what a great variety we have so far – others are yet to flower.
Listed below are: Yarrow; Ribwort Plantain; Creeping Buttercup; Corn Chamomile; Greater Stitchwort; a view of the meadow; Wood Avens; Rough Hawkbit (?); Yellow Rattle; Eyebright; Autumn Hawkbit (?); Corn Cockle.
