In Y6 we have been considering how to look after our own well-being – physical, mental and emotional. We have found being outside in nature can benefit us in so many ways. One of the most popular, relaxing activities being enjoyed is ‘well-being whittling’. The children are learning how to use tools safely and finding it incredibly beneficial for their well-being, enjoying a relaxing chat as they whittle. Our Willow class even identified the willow trees that needed pruning to find their whittling wood!
