Years 4 and 5 took part in the Grounds 4 Nature BioBlitz today. We discovered plenty of living organisms and enjoyed the challenge of identifying them.
It’s interesting to see different wildlife in the autumn. We think the temperature and the amount of rain might be some of the reasons for the differences. Perhaps, some creatures have migrated or started hibernation?
What have you spotted?

Love your Bio Blitz – looks like you found quite a bit of biodiversity.
We’ve made 110 observations, so far! We are in second place, at the moment but a long way behind the leaders, on both observations and species. It’s been great to see our pollinator numbers are still good, for September.
