Years 2 and 4 have been learning about polar regions and climate change in Geography and had an amazing time with visitors from wicked weather watch. Hazel (one of our supply TAs) gave an inspiring talk about her expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctica. It was fascinating to hear about the landscape, environment, the wildlife and the extreme weather conditions she experienced. The workshop ended with the children pledging to make changes in their own lives to tackle climate change. What an inspiring day!
