Ask any of our children where their favourite place to be at school is and they will tell you – among the trees! Some like to sit underneath the branches, some crawl through the tunnels created by trees close together and others like to find the highest view they can, imagining they are a bird! Whilst you are climbing a tree, there’s always time for a good chat about looking after trees, being careful of the branches, leaving the bark in tact and noticing how the different trees feel and respond when we are climbing. We noticed that pine trees have very bendy branches so we need to stay close to the trunk.
