The weather was cool and damp, the ground had finally been cleared, the equipment had been set out, and the children were ready. Very ready.
Year 6 had an epic morning planting their tree and having fun in the mud. They had a go at worm charming, which then turned into an enthusiastic bug hunt. There were also some impromptu attempts at mud sculpture along with a lot of messy play. A wonderful morning was had by all. #Connectwithnature

Looks great fun! What worked best for charming worms?
The children did various things. They stamped on the ground, they scraped the ground with trowels, and they also sprinkled water on the ground.
