We have been learning about recycling and up-cycling. We have been brainstorming different ideas on how a old drawer can be used in the garden. Two of our pupils are using their drawer to make a mini bug hotel and have been working hard in foraging for materials around the school grounds. We have been learning about the different habitats that mini-beasts live in and have been to our DT department to borrow some specialised tools to cut our materials to fit our mini hotel. Still a long way to complete but we cannot wait!

What a brilliant use of an old drawer. Let us know which of your handmade habitats the bugs like best as we are going to make some soon. Thanks
