We found it impossible to narrow down our finalists to 5 so gave several of our Year 5 students a place in our Speaking up for nature final. We were so impressed with each and every finalist – talking passionately on subjects such as the state of our oceans, deforestation, animal poaching and protection of wild animals. Every child spoke clearly and confidently using skills learned at the Speaker’s Trust workshop. Almost impossible to choose only one winner but Bella’s heart-felt speech on the importance of nature and our mental health won the day. Well done everyone! They all loved their certificates presented by our Headmaster.
