12 children at Rolph were excited to receive a certificate and pin badge after completing the Junior Forestry course from the Royal Forestry Society. To achieve this the children had to complete a number of tasks, including: assessing risks and suggesting ways to reduce them, planting trees and bulbs, identifying minibeasts and creating a habitat for them, making something from wood and knowing the names of at east 6 trees in our woodland area. We are very proud of the commitment and dedication that the children put into the award!
