A ground-space was used by a company outside our school for some months over the autumn/winter, which has now been left as a large patch of earth. Grass seed has been scattered over the ground, which is yet to show signs of growth. Poppy plants have started to grow, but we discussed this as a class and decided we would like to see more biodiversity there. Using some donated wildflower seeds, and Seed Bombs from the BBC as part of their ‘The Green Planet’ initiative, we set out to guerrilla garden the area to promote wildflowers in our community.
