We have started our after school Eco Club working on the school grounds to make it more wildlife friendly. We have laid wood bark chippings (from trees in our school grounds that had a haircut!) around our garden area to make it look nicer and to attract different insects. We have already spotted several different insects including a millipede and woodlice! We have also planted a hedgerow to help make the school grounds neater and help secure a muddy bank near a stream. Finally, we have planted wild flower seed bombs which we received through the Green Planet programme.
