About the 2022 Festival
The online Force for Nature Festival is a great opportunity to feel part of this exciting campaign and celebrate the wonder of trees and nature. Take an hour to sit back with your class, or school, and be inspired to take action, speak up and help tackle the nature and climate crises.
Festival highlights:
- Renowned Artist Rachel Gadsden and Muhammed, one of our YTC Ambassadors, lead an interactive poetry in motion activity
- Hear from Environmentalist, Author and WWF Ambassador Jon Drori CBE, Botanist and Author Dr Chris Thorogood and the amazing Forester, Arborist, Woodland Consultant and Ancient & Veteran Tree Surveyor, Cheryl Deurden
- Listen to passionate speeches from young people all across the UK who are speaking up for trees and nature
- Meet our incredible Ambassadors, inspiring you to take action and be a #ForceForNature
- Awards: The announcement of the winner of the Speaking Up for Trees and Nature competition and the Young Tree Champion Beacon Schools for 2022.
Catch up on the Force For Nature Festivals 2021
The Tree Council has teamed up with M&G plc and Kusuma Trust and partners, including Eco-schools, Forest Schools and Youth Scotland, to deliver two online Force for Nature Festivals. The festivals bring together schools from across the UK to celebrate and share their achievements and Force For Nature journey.
Force For Nature Climate Festival

Festival highlights:
- Renowned artist Rachel Gadsden, will be leading an interactive art activity to create a Force For Nature Forest
- Special guest, member of the Scottish Young People’s Forest Aidan Cronin, will be explaining how the Young Scots project is empowering young people to be a force for nature
- Meet our incredible Ambassadors, inspiring you to take action and be a #ForceForNature
- Awards: The announcement of the winner of the Speaking Up competition and the Young Tree Champion Beacon Schools for 2021
