Our Young Ambassadors really enjoyed the Force For Nature Festival today, listening to the winning voices, the music, the art and the presentations. We were very proud to have received our Outstanding Beacon Award in recognition for all of the hard work the pupils (and staff) have done over the past year for trees and for nature in general. They clapped all of the Outstanding Beacon Awards and also all of new Beacon Schools which is fantastic to see. Congratulations to everybody and we are looking forward to learning about your great work and nature adventures. We haven’t finished the year yet – we are still immersed in the Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild for the whole school, we are open all weekend as part of Bridlington’s Old Town Secret Gardens event so people can view our nature areas, we have our your tree seedlings to sort and some will be going off with the Year 6s at the end of the year, we are working on our pond, meadow, orchard, new hedgerow, wildflower areas… quite simply, we love nature!
