On Saturday, April 20th we held our second Earth Day Festival. It was a bit of a soggy day, but we still had quite of few guests from both our school and the community. The mayor and members from the local council were in attendance. We were hoping to inspire others to get outdoors and enjoy nature and of course learn about conservation and sustainability.

Tree Wardens and The Tree Council were present, which was lovely, and they were able to meet a few local council members and school represents from nearby schools as well.

Other organisations present were the Rambling Association, WINGS (Pro-Swift Box), Nature Volunteer Association, the Army Cadets, West Norfolk and King’s Lynn Beekeeper Association, and Recycling and Waste Department from the council. Dr Roz Wade from the Cambridge Zoological Museum held a brilliant pond dipping session for us as well.
