In July, Year 5 and 6 created a new garden area.  The purpose was to have lots of flowers to attract bees and butterflies.  In the tyres, they planted herbs so we could have a sensory patch.  They rebuilt the bug hotel, putting it in a more secure place and placed a hedgehog house next to it.  They raised the money to buy all the plants with a non-school uniform day that they organised themselves.  We also had plants donated from the local community.
