Today year 5 had an Anglo-Saxon Day in the woods. They took part in a range of activities, including making jewellery from Pewter, dyeing fabric with natural dye, making runes, weaving, designing and making shields, excavating for ancient coins, cooking apples with honey and spear throwing.
This was outdoor learning at its best!!
